Iowa Barn Foundation Program and JoAnn Lower Storyteller
Heery Woods Park Lodge, Clarksville

Barns were once an icon of Iowa's rural landscape but with changes in today's farming many of Iowa's barns are being torn down or replaced. The Iowa Barn Foundation is working to make sure that some of these unique and historic buildings are preserved for the future.

In this program, local resident and Vice-President of the Iowa Barn Foundation Tom Lawler will talk about the Iowa Barn Foundation and how it has helped restore barns across the State. Joining Tom will be Rochester Minnesota Storyteller JoAnne Lowery who will share with us her tales of growing up as an Iowa farm girl.
