FINANCE/ELECTIONS CLERK JOB OPENING AVAILABLE
Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Finance/Elections Clerk at the Butler County Auditor’s office.
Job Summary: Performs account/document verification and reporting for vendor claims processing; prepares various reports necessary in tracking revenues and expenditures; participates in various operational and support tasks to maintain election materials, supplies, equipment and records; maintains the county website; assists the public as needed, and carries out additional tasks in the Auditor’s office, including elections tasks.

Basic Job Requirements: Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or higher in Business, Finance or related field is preferred, not required. Minimum 2 years job-related business or finance experience or combination of education and experience. Candidate must be highly accurate, possess the ability to organize and prioritize work schedule, have exceptional customer service skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse office environment. Must possess strong computer skills and have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel with the ability to quickly learn other county and elections software. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. Additional, flexible hours and occasional travel required. Must possess a valid driver license and pass a background check.
