Temporary Part-Time Administrative Assistant

 The Butler County Environmental Health and Zoning office is seeking a temporary part-time administrative assistant through December 15, 2022, or until project is completed. 

Main job duties shall include transferring files into a paperless format as well as a few administrative duties as assigned including answering the phone, providing customer service, and data entry.  This will be a 12-15 hour a week position, hours are flexible between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The position may extend longer than December if more time is needed.

Job Requirements: Candidate must possess basic computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment, possess the ability to organize and prioritize work schedule, and have exceptional customer service skills.  Must be 18 years of age.

Salary: $12.50 per hour.

Are you a certified nursing assistant who would like to earn a little extra money? 

Butler County Public Health is looking to hire a PRN (as needed) home care aide to provide care for patients living in Butler County. Home visits are usually made during the morning hours but can be flexible. Starting wage - $15.50 per hour. Mileage reimbursement - $0.50 per mile. Employee is eligible for IPERS and paid-time off. Butler County Conservation will be hiring 2 Seasonal Mowers for the 2022 mowing season.

DESCRIPTION: Employees will assist with mowing of the parks and campgrounds. Work settings primarily outdoors to include areas like campgrounds, public hunting areas, prairies and preserves, bike trail.

These are seasonal jobs from April - September with an average of 15 to 25 hours during the week, no weekends. Flexible scheduling is available.

SALARY:  $11.00 - $13.00 per hour.
